Backend Engineer – Global Financial Services Firm (Full Remote, Microservices, Cloud)
Our client is a leading financial services firm across Asia. This person will be responsible for leveraging Java, Springboot, Microservices, and Cloud to work on their Greenfield platform.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience working in the Financial or E-commerce industry
At least 5 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Java programming language and software development best practices
Experience with Spring Framework, Microservices, and other Java frameworks
Familiarity using Cloud services
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Good command of English
