Who You Are
You are a meticulous and organised Bookkeeper/Accounting Professional. You also have a strong professional background and ample accounting experience with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Recommendation from previous colleagues is something that will be easy for you to obtain.
Additionally, you:
Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Are able to finish work in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
Possess excellent spoken English and are proactive in communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. Experience with (specific accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is required.
Previous Experience working with a US based Company is required.
GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) is not required but a plus.
Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, CPA) is a plus.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.

What You’ll Do:
– Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records by recording and reconciling all financial transactions in the general ledger, including invoices, payments, expenses, and receipts.
– Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and prompt collection of payments from clients. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
– Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and other deductions. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
– Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately reflected in the company’s financial statements.
– Expense Reporting: Review and reconcile employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate reimbursement.
– Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide detailed documentation and support for internal and external audits.
– Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including filing necessary tax forms and ensuring timely payment of taxes.
– Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and managing financial records.
