I am working with a European leader in the Microsoft Gold Partner network who are offering a great opportunity for a Senior Functional Consultant to develop there career working with an exciting company, specialising in the manufacturing and distribution space. These guys have some big Business central projects lined up for the 18 months and are in need of a consultant who understands not just finance but other business processes within a range of industries.

They are looking for an individual who is wanting to progress there career in a fast paced direction, who loves project work and has communication skills to relay business needs between client and development needs.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Facing Requirements Analysis.

Customer Facing Workshops (Product Configuration & Process Training).

Data Migration Training & Support.

Change Request Functional Design, Development Support, System Testing and Customer Rollout.

Customer UAT & Go-Live Support.

Mentoring / Knowledge Sharing with Junior Consultants (where required).

Complementing the Project Manager’s activities in delivering a “holistic” view of what is required to achieve project success.

Building strong relationships with Customers, as a “trusted advisor”, but not being afraid to influence a “best fit” solution with a “standard” implementation.

Key Qualities / Experience

Proven track record of working in the Construction Sector with strong knowledge of the sectors business processes and challenges.

Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of customer engagement (from Stakeholders / Decision Makers to End Users).

Team Player with a can-do attitude willing to take on challenges to get the job done.

Good commercial acumen understanding the balance between profitable customer engagement and the need to deliver customer value.

Proven track record as a Consultant Lead working for a Reseller / Systems Integrator (ideally Dynamics BC Channel), i.e. not sole experience as an End User role.
