JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide and recommend strategic development of the assigned Business Unit in key accounts
Work closely with the channel partner’s field sales personnel ensuring that the objective of a particular account is achieved
Help to develop and manage customers hospitals contract or project vis a vis with our Distributors
Drive customer sales and profit initiatives to achieve business goals and assigned revenue quota
Work with sales and marketing management to develop and manage tactical and strategic sales plans to penetrate key accounts
Seek new opportunities and drive continuous improvement for coordination and management of existing business
Quantify business opportunities presented by customers’ new products/projects and work with technical and product development teams to define those
Create and maintain long term business relationships at the senior level within customer base
Execute pricing proposals in accordance with the company’s pricing guidelines and market trends
Evaluate territory performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc and take appropriate action to continuously improve performance
Provide accurate forecast of sales for the territory by customer and product on a timely basis
Drive proactive customer communication by conducting and leading internal/external business reviews with customer base
Conducting analysis of any gaps or opportunities of existing product and service offerings This includes product rationalization as and when required and input on current strategies for existing products
Developing, identifying new products/services that meet the need of an identified new or existing market sector or channel
Analysis and development of new market sectors and opportunities for key new product/service ranges. This may be done when the product/service is still in the pipeline
Ensure account information and knowledge management is current and accurate
Provide ongoing communication to management regarding customer risk, opportunity, development and direction in market Assessing business potential of current and new customers is a key
Monitor publications and announcements from customer base and target customers, channeling information to management
Participate in weekly sales meeting to include budget, sales, profit and forecast
Coordinate efforts with Sales, Marketing, Senior Management resources as needed
Set up/Attend Regional, National and/or Global trade shows, consult industry directories, and travel to develop new and existing customer leads
Keep management abreast of market conditions, product performance and make recommendations for future growth potential such as acquisitions, new market strategies, new product development based on market trends, etc
Manage expenses within specified budget and company policy guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Minimum 4-7 years of sales and/marketing experience in medical devices including distributor sales management
Effective management and/knowledge of selling process
Experience leading a business unit/ function in meeting sales and financial objectives
Experience in leading and developing a sales/distributor team
Implemented market development strategies, especially in emerging markets
Implemented and executed tactical marketing plans (e g new product launches, programs, messaging)
Strong KOL management
Knowledge
A degree in nursing or health science background
Awareness of external environment i e customers, competitors, government healthcare policies etc
Understanding of distributor business model
Able to grasp hold of financial concepts, budgeting, sales and demand forecasting
Competencies required
Build trusting relationships with distributors, customers, direct reports and colleagues
High impact communication to individuals and groups to influence others’ thoughts and actions
Mobilize available internal and external resources to achieve sales and organizational goals
Strategic planning of the overall objectives and directions for the business unit
Good business acumen
Expanding and advancing sales opportunities
Sales negotiation to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements

Strong drive for results
Enjoy working with numbers and analyzing financial data
Willing to travel
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
