As a Business Intelligence Team Lead you will lead, manage, coach, and develop a talented team of developers, data engineers, and analysts; some on-site and some remote. You will lead the team both in work content and technology, challenging them to stay ahead; and in the way they work, continuously using inspection and adaption to improve. You will strive for best practice but be pragmatic in what is achievable and aim to deliver value as the primary priority.
The role requires technical understanding, but also business acumen, and people management skills. The successful candidate will be able to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
This role would suit someone with a background in data and analytics who has moved, or desires to move, into management.
Candidates will need to be capable of and have experience in data engineering; however, a successful candidate will also need people management skills, and the character and desire to maintain and develop a capable team, full of strong characters.
