The Capability Manager for Network Alliance and External PBM will be responsible for supporting UMR efforts in expanding Network Alliance business. The capability manager supports prospective sales, the overall implementation and post-sale support of new partners. They will also support the growing external PBM team with managing new PBM implementations and overseeing and leading platform The role addresses the need for resources to set up, coordinate, and support these unique and complex partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the execution of the capability roadmap including defining features and requirements, ensuring alignment to product strategy and business objectives

Collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, Client Management, Finance, and Marketing to ensure client experience capabilities are developed and prioritized

Identify, track and, manage dependencies, issues and, risks to resolution

The Capability Manager has the responsibility for documenting and managing capability related artifacts across the full lifecycle; Ensures alignment with business stakeholders and works with cross-functional teams to execute; Takes feedback and works closely with internal and external clients to problem-solve and translate feedback appropriately. They must have success in working across organizations and structuring approaches to new opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of health industry experience

Experience presenting to or working directly with external partners or customers

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing or executing a product or service

Ability to think strategically with ability to build solid working relationships across organizational teams in a fast-paced and changing environment

Demonstrated success defining and launching products in an Agile environment

Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams in highly matrixed environment

Ability to embrace change and respond quickly

Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
