Chinese OPI/VRI Interpreter – Remote

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chinese OPI/VRI Interpreter. The interpreter will be responsible for providing over-the-phone and video remote interpretation services. Daily tasks include interpreting conversations between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking parties, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, handling interpretation sessions professionally, and managing client relationships effectively. The role requires a high level of linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding to facilitate clear and effective communication. Qualifications Fluency in Chinese and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills in both languages Experience in over-the-phone or video remote interpretation Strong cultural competency and understanding of both Chinese and English-speaking cultures Ability to manage interpretation sessions professionally and maintain confidentiality Strong customer service skills and ability to manage client relationships Technical proficiency to manage remote interpretation tools and platforms Bachelor&aposs degree in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred) Previous experience in a BPO or remote working environment is an advantage Show more Show less
