The interpreter will provide over-the-phone and video remote interpretation services, ensuring accurate and effective communication between non-English and English speakers. The interpreter will handle a variety of topics, including medical, legal, and customer service scenarios. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, adhering to industry standards, and providing clear and professional service. Qualifications Fluency in Chinese and English, with excellent verbal communication skills in both languages. Proficiency in over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) techniques. Experience in medical, legal, or customer service interpreting is a plus. Strong cultural competency and understanding of diversity. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards. High level of professionalism and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
