As Cloud support engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical service/support for global online customers. You will be improving processes, optimizing operations, and improving metrics which reflect an industry-leading support experience.
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer’s queries and technical issues.
Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success on the Akamai platform.
Leading investigations across Akamai’s Distributed Network for optimized performance and delivery for customers
Analyzing existing technical issues across Akamai’s Distributed Networks and proposing solutions to prevent issues from recurring.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 2 to 4 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields.
Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers.
Demonstrate a good aptitude for building trusted relationships with customers and providing guidance to wider team members.
Be well versed in how the internet works, it’s underlying protocols with understanding of HTTP(S), TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, network routing and troubleshooting.
Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix
Have prioritize workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying technical ability.
Have excellent spoken and written English skills.
