Position: Co-Director of Green Energy NGO
Location: Remote (China)
Annual Salary: USD $90,000 – $110,000
About the NGO: Our NGO is a leading advocate for green energy, focused on spearheading renewable energy initiatives and driving sustainable practices worldwide. We are committed to combating climate change, fostering eco-friendly solutions, and empowering communities to embrace a greener future.
Responsibilities: As Co-Director, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management and direction of the organization, working in tandem with the existing leadership team. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive team to develop and execute the NGO’s strategic vision, setting short and long-term goals aligned with our mission and values.
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate various green energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and donors to drive collaborative efforts in the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions.
Advocacy and Campaigning: Lead advocacy and awareness campaigns to influence policies and promote renewable energy adoption at local, national, and international levels.
Team Development: Nurture and mentor a dedicated team of professionals, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
Fundraising and Budgeting: Identify funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and manage financial resources effectively.
Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor the NGO’s performance and impact, producing periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise and passion for green energy, sustainability, and environmental advocacy.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the nonprofit, environmental, or renewable energy sector.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Residency and remote working capabilities within China.
Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Business Administration) is preferred.
