Contract Senior Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 51303-1)

– Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech’s headcount, full-time second to serve the WSD;
1. Manage IT projects including, but not limited to, the implementation of Central Operations Support System (COSS), Public Enquiry Management System (PEMS), Smart Trunk Transfer Support System (STTSS), and the new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) system.
2. Participate in preparation of tender documents, procurement of services, hardware and software, supervision and management of IT contractors, coordination with users, etc.
3. Provide IT support to users.
4. Provide maintenance support of VDI system.
5. Assist in administration and maintenance of servers in Water Supplies Department.
6. Provide miscellaneous technical support on IT matters.

Requirements – solid experience in information system development projects of HKSARG
– solid experience in contractor management
– solid experience in collecting and consolidating user requirements and turning them into structural system specifications
– solid experience in Government tender preparation and administration
– solid experience in supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix XenServer and Citrix Virtual App and Desktop products
– possess knowledge and experience in administration of server equipment

Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years’ experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
. At least 4 years’ experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 4 years’ experience in Microsoft Officer SharePoint Server Administration (MSP);
. At least 4 years’ experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 4 years’ experience in Remote Access Server (RAS);
. At least 4 years’ experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 4 years’ experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12).

Non-technical Skills:
. At least 4 years’ experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 4 years’ experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA);
. At least 4 years’ experience in vendor management (VMG).
– Bachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
– At least 8 years’ post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
