Position : Cook – Asylum Down
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and passionate Cook who thrives in a fast-paced, artistic kitchen environment. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare meals that are both visually appealing and rooted in Ghanaian and Afro-fusion flavours, while adhering to high food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of dishes according to Palm Moments’ standards and recipes

Assist in designing seasonal menus that celebrate Ghanaian and West African culinary heritage

Ensure food is plated and presented in an appealing and consistent manner

Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment

Adhere to all food safety, storage, and hygiene practices in compliance with regulatory guidelines

Participate in pre-event and mobile kitchen setups for pop-up services and catering

Work with other team members to introduce new vegetarian, vegan, and baked options

Manage time effectively and work efficiently during peak hours

Required profile for job ad : Cook – Asylum Down
Requirements:

Certificate in Catering, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent

2+ years’ experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant preferred

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portioning, and cultural cuisines

Understanding of food safety regulations

Attention to detail in flavour, consistency, and visual presentation

Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a team setting

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and special event days

Experience in preparing vegetarian or vegan dishes, and basic baking skills are a plus
