What You’ll Do:
VidCruiter is on a mission to help our clients build customized recruitment processes that deliver the highest-quality employees in the most efficient and cost-effective way. We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in AWS and MySQL. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in SQL query optimization, relational database schema optimization, and MySQL server configuration. You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Main Responsibilities
Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
Design and implement relational database schemas for optimal data storage and retrieval.
Configure and optimize MySQL server settings for peak performance.
Manage and maintain MySQL databases hosted on AWS RDS and Aurora.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies as needed.
Collaborate with development teams to support database needs and ensure best practices.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
What we’re looking for:
Extensive experience with SQL query optimization.
Proven expertise in relational database schema optimization.
In-depth knowledge of MySQL server configuration and optimization.
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and Aurora for MySQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to have
Relevant certifications in AWS or MySQL.
Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
Familiarity with other database technologies is a plus.
