Devops Engineer (Remote) up to $3000 gross

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS, Kubernetes and English, full-salary insurance, working with global colleagues, working remote 100%.

Job purpose

In this role, your expertise in DevOps is utilized to ensure smooth deployment and delivery of our products to our customers. You will collaborate with multiple teams, including development, production support, business teams, and other technical and non-technical teams within company. Your goal is to ensure an efficient, reliable process from development to production to allow our business teams to continue to deliver the greatest customer experience.

Duties and responsibilities

Architect, develop, deploy and document DevOps pipelines that support the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain.

Maintain and expand existing cloud based automations and related processes at company

Enhance the reliability and performance of of our distributed systems and containerized deployments

Drive the continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

REQUIRED:

4+ years of experience working with containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes

Hands-on experience with AWS with its core services like EC2, VPC and RDS

Solid understanding of of CI/CD pipelines and it’s implementations

Experience with automation/config management tools like Jenkins, Salt or Ansible

Practical experience scripting in Python/JavaScript/Bash/Groovy

Experience with source control tools like Git

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or related to Software Development (must-have)

HELPFUL ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Experience with Database administration for SQL/NoSQL

Exposure to Spinnaker

Exposure to DevSecOps pipelines

Exposure to REST API development
