As the Digital Product Manager for the Consumer Product Performance and Stability team, you are responsible for strategic planning of development necessary to meet the business needs within Consumer Operations via the enablement of business controls that promote digital stability, system uptime, performance improvements, data quality, improved turn-around-time, and process efficiencies. As the key liaison between the business and technical teams, your analysis, documentation, and communication skills are critical to exceeding your customer expectations and establishing and driving the product road map.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support technical performance and stability activities focusing on continued opportunities to further scale and stabilize the upstream and downstream systems that support the member and advocate facing digital experiences
Support end-to-end coordination and alignment for product-related support activities
Creating, documenting, and communicating the product roadmap, helping facilitate buy-in among all stakeholders
Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements (features / user stories), defining business value and prioritizing business requirements in support of critical business needs
Creation and management of strategic features and stories that will advance the Performance Management teams’ objectives.
Ensure monitoring product roadmap aligns to business strategy and supports service delivery. Interpret data to make decisions that provides recommendations to leadership for Product Management strategy, own correlated product requirements and documentation.
Support issue resolution activities regarding strategic capabilities supported by the team
Leverage data to build business cases for product investment, translates product capabilities to delivered value across all Programs, regularly interacts with Program Management to understand Client needs. Translates Program needs into actionable plans
Understand key value and cost indicators, Compiles analysis and prepares ROI and/or CBAs for project funding, collaborates with internal stakeholders to define financial benefits, articulates how product feature costs and value support the business case
Articulate how their product capabilities tie into the overall product suite, Engage with IT stakeholders to ensure product changes align with IT strategy
Become knowledgeable on product’s key data points and metrics, maintain objectivity when interpreting data, use data to develop and evaluate courses of action, makes fact-based proposals on how to address customer needs
Work well in a matrix environment across cross – functional teams

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a Business Analysis-type role that required independent problem solving, juggling of multiple priorities and the research of conflicting and/or inaccurate data
Experience in business problem translation to end-user need and ability to document for business and technical partners
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising of product managers, project managers, operators, marketers, and engineering
Demonstrated user-centric product development experience with positive impacts to KPIs
Intermediate skill with PC based software programs (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile processes, including development of user stories
Experience using AHA for product ideation, requirements gathering, and prioritization
Demonstrated experience facilitating large groups and remote audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to all levels of project governance

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
