Job Overview This position serves as the business partner of Appliances Global Operations VP. The main duties include (but not limit) working closely with Operations VP and his leadership team on business decisions and providing key analysis around Operations performance improvement.
Job Location: Remote: any country in Asia, EMEA or State in the US
Key responsibilities include:
Partner with APL Operation team to drive productivity and manage inventory risk
Direct and perform consolidation of operational financial results on an ongoing basis and complete review, reconciliation, and analysis. Provide recommendations for corrective actions and opportunities for improvement to management.
Partner with VP of Global Operations on footprint migration, consolidation and expansion activities to optimize current manufacturing and supply chain capability
Participate in the completion of the strategic plan, annual budget process and re-cost cycle
Drive Operations strategic plan (capacity and resources planning) to align with business long term growth
Lead operations budget planning and forecasting; review/monitor operations activities against budget ensure results achieve financial targets and business KPIs
Responsible for Global Operations finance policies and ensure appropriate levels of financial controls across global operations in compliance with US GAAP, PRC GAAP for China entities and SOX requirements. rive improvement of digital finance throughout the operations organization
Manage and lead a team of 20+ finance professionals globally
What your background should look like:Experience:
18+ years of experience in MNC
Working Experience in different cultures / countries
Manufacturing background is mandatory
Approximately 5-10 years of business experience in Operational finance and people manager.
Leadership experience for a sizable team.
Can work globally
Knowledge:
Understanding of cost accounting, cost analysis and reporting matters
Understanding of financial driver and relations within a manufacturing environment
Good understanding of US GAAP
ERP system knowledge, SAP experience is preferred
Education:
Bachelors in Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or ACCA)
Master/MBA preferred
