For a period of 2-4 weeks, we are looking for an English speaking Fleet manager to support our geodata collection survey project in the Eastern countries (from UTC+8 to UTC+10).
The work of a Fleet manager includes booking hotels for drivers, instructing drivers on company’s guidelines and resolving non-standard situations on the road.
Non-standard situations might include, for example:
Car repairs or changing a flat tire
Absence of a road indicated in the route
Deviations from the planned route
Problems with hotel staff
Bad weather conditions
Disruptions in the work schedule
Based on the general project requirements, it will be necessary to make local decisions and communicate them to the driver during their working hours from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (UTC+8).
These situations may happen or not, but the manager should be available during the whole day to react to them without any delay.
Proficiency in English and management skills are essential for this role.
