What You Will Do
As our EDI Analyst, you will act as point of contact for all internal users and external trading partners, and will assist in the coordination of EDI related activities to include: 1) onboarding of new accounts to the EDI platform. 2) facilitation of the resolution of issues with accounts and internally across our IT organization and CS Team 3) communication of status of resolution to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Receives and determines electronic commerce opportunities with various customer facilities and IDNs.
Manages day to day partnership with GHX and works with representatives of GHX along with CS and creates mapping requirement specifications from trading partner guidelines (850, 855, 810 transactions)
Coordinates the development and documentation associated with the use and on-going maintenance of all electronic commerce conversion and implementation activities. Includes electronic commerce troubleshooting as well as owning support issues related to electronic commerce.
Works closely with GHX to resolve issues as required.
Coordinates the partnership with internal and external stakeholders to plan, test, and implement all changes to ensure that solutions operate as envisioned.
Coordinates responses required to address technical and functional issues related to EDI, engaging IT and functional resources as needed.
Develops a basic understanding of ERP system and working understanding of both customer service and accounts receivable.
Able to work in a collaborative environment, including facilitation skills to lead requirements workshops.
Able to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements.
Train internal business colleagues on EDI and EDI systems when required.
Complete additional projects and assignments as required.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 4+ years of working experience OR 6 years equivalent working experience in lieu of a Bachelors
2-4 years of EDI, ERP, and GHX experience required
EDI transactional knowledge (850, 855, 810) required
Vendor EDI data analysis is required. Familiarity with EDI Standards such as x12, XML specifications is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to resolve internal and external customer complaints and concerns
Ability to work independently and to retain flexibility and maintain composure under pressure. Proven background in meeting deadlines is a must
Must be detail oriented and proficient in Excel
Must have strong leadership, organization, presentation and communication skills and demonstrate initiative to stay abreast of current trends in electronic commerce and technical advancements
A good understanding of supply chain processes within the medical device industry is preferred
Ability to lead and promote change in an environment of rapidly changing technologies and business processes
$67,400 – $136,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
