Endpoint Detection and Response Specialist – Remote US

We are looking for an Endpoint Detection and Response Specialist to join our team at the Siemens Cyber Defense Center, whose primary mission is to defend Siemens against cyber security threats worldwide. This position will play a key role in supporting the design, deployment, configuration, optimization, operation, and monitoring of large-scale EDR deployments across Siemens. This position can be based remotely in the US.
You’ll make an impact as you:

Actively collaborate with the international team of Siemens Cybersecurity professionals that support globally deployed EDR solutions.

Engage in the evaluation, design, implementation, and management of new approaches leveraging the EDR solutions and capabilities of our innovative detection program.

Collaborate with both cyber groups within the various business unites and end users that we support resolving EDR related challenges.

Participate in cyber security related events and report on status information to the management team.

Work together with the team to increase the security posture by helping to enforce the governance policies so that we can deliver the best EDR coverage and maintain the company security posture.

Help to drive new capabilities leveraging automation methods using techniques like API-based integrations with a CI/CD approach.

Proactively monitor and own various processes and procedures while maintaining a collaborate international group approach to support our Global EDR deployments.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Endpoint Detection and Response administration using both CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender platforms.

1+ years of experience in advanced troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.

1+ years of experience in project and delivery management.

Ability to travel internationally and nationally as required.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.

Knowledge in global deployment, configuration, and automation methods and toolsets.

Knowledge of IP network fundamentals.

Experience writing structured technical documentation.

The pay range for this position is $97,200 – $166,800. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
