Job Description
Supervises, coordinates, and assigns the work of team members on the Compliance team in the Retirement Department to ensure department goals and customer needs are met. Manage and support employees in plan operating tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting and general client deliverables. Regularly working 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday with 40 hour work week. This position is full time, fully remote, salaried, and exempt.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Sr. Directors of ERISA/Non-ERISA Operations.
Duties

Oversee all assigned processing/relationship responsibilities for specific job function

Be involved in strategic planning for your team to align with department and company goals

Review production reports

Provide coverage to team if employees are unavailable

Manage the team to enhance performance by coordinating duties, advising on issues or problems, and checking work

Track daily work to ensure team members are progressing and meeting department goals

Coordinate with Implementation Team when new plans are being turned over to the Department to ensure plans are set up and transitioned properly and timely

Interview, hire and train new employees on systems and industry knowledge

Administer timekeeping, PTO management and FMLA tracking for the team

Conduct performance evaluations, training, and discipline

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Some travel may be required, possibly overnight

Facilitate daily team huddle and trainings as needed

Create scoreboards and KPI Summaries to motivate team members

Send regular updates to Sr. Directors and Vice President

Ensure KPI reports are available and updated daily

Support team members to ensure they feel valued and empowered

Gain extensive knowledge of retirement plans through completion of QKA and TGPC certification and maintain certification once obtained

Oversee training program for newly onboarded team members

Maintain high performance in all measured key performance indicators (KPIs)

Perform other duties as assigned by Sr. Directors, Vice President or other Senior Leaders

Requirements

Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule and may be expected to work more than 40 hours per week

Strong computer skills including typing and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Education and Experience – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Real time testing ERISA plans. 3 or more years’ retirement plan administration experience is preferred. Experience supervising remote employees preferred.
Physical Requirements – This position requires the employee to be seated the majority of the work time.
