We are currently seeking a dynamic HVAC/Plumbing Dispatcher to join our team, where you’ll play a vital role in scheduling service calls and handling parts procurement efficiently. Responsibilities:
● Coordinate and schedule HVAC and plumbing service calls for technicians
● Prioritize service requests based on urgency and customer needs
● Communicate effectively with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status
● Dispatch technicians to job sites and ensure timely arrival
● Monitor technician progress and provide support as needed
● Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician availability, and customer information
● Handle parts ordering responsibilities, including sourcing and procurement
● Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
● Resolve parts-related issues and maintain proper documentation
● Assist in other administrative tasks as needed Requirements:
● Previous experience in a dispatching role, preferably in the HVAC or plumbing industry
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
● Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
● Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is a plus
● Experience with parts ordering and inventory management preferred
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits:
