Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager, individual contributor supporting the Program Office in the Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) business within Power & Controls. The Finance Manager will be responsible for and will oversee the reporting and consolidation of the Program Office, engineering projects and financials, forecast and plans.
What You Will Do
Financial reporting, planning, and analysis in compliance with GAAP and all RTX policies
and procedures
Journal entry, P&L, and Balance Sheet account review and approval
Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, operations, programs, engineering and
other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes
Oversee and assist with reporting and reconciliation of estimates at completion (EACs) on
engineering and development programs
Monitor and communicate financial risks and opportunities within the business
Provide financial analytics to leadership team to support decision making
Support ad hoc management requests for financial information and analysis
Sarbanes Oxley and Government accounting compliance, reporting, and testing
Utilize CORE tools to identify and drive process improvement initiatives within the
organization
What You Will Learn
Learn to prepare financial reports and analyses in strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all relevant RTX policies and procedures.
Gain hands-on experience in reviewing and approving journal entries, as well as conducting thorough reviews of Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet accounts.
Gain understanding of project financials, monitoring variances, and ensuring accurate financial projections.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience leveraging strong leadership skills, adaptability, and self-direction to drive business results
Master’s degree or CPA preferred
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
U.S. Government accounting experience a plus
Systems exposed to: HFM, OneStream, Hyperion Essbase, SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD – 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
