FRS have been enlisted to assist a dynamic high growth £500m T/O, PE backed business operating within the Engineering and Automotive to assist in the recruitment of a FP&A Manager either on a long term interim or ideally permanent basis.
Due to the multisite, national presence of this business this role is largely remote leaving open to a UK wide search with candidates needing to attending meetings in London or Birmingham on occasions.
This position will be joining the business at a key stage of both improvement and growth via M&A and therefore office excellent exposure both across BAU and projects
Overview
Working closely with the Director of FP&A, Group CFO and External Investors with the primary focus to provided Exec and Investors with better visibility into business performance
Overhauled FP&A and commercial finance processes that enabled greater financial management, control of costs and working capital
Duties
Work with the Director of FP&A and wider finance team to review and enhance a budget & forecasting process.
Creation of forecasting tools with basic data inputs and improved management insight
Develop business KPIs to focus the leadership team on key measure to drive the business performance
Assist with the implementation of fit for purpose analysis & MI Tools to enable improved insight alongside use of Netsuite
Produce and present monthly and quarterly forecast, creating and managing a 5 year business plan, managing a business profit protection plan for the coming years.
Enhance perception of finance with a focus on business partnering with key stakeholders to improve understanding and drive improvement.
Play a key role in the companies ongoing M&A Activity – Financial Modelling, Due Diligence & Integrations
The ideal candidate will be formally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and have at least 2-5 years previous experience gained operating with FP&A / Commercial Finance
Alongside BAU duties candidates will ideally have a demonstrated track record to taking a business on a journey delivering improvements to MI / Insight / KPI’s improving and implementation of Analysis Tool.
Previous experience of working within a demand PE / VC backed business desirable and previous experience of Net suite or similar ERP systems would also make the integration much easier.
This position can be offered on either a long term Interim basis or (and preferably) Permanent Basis with a salary of between £60,000 to £70,000 Benefits, bonus and excellent career development prospects.
