Overview:
Interlace Health is seeking a highly experienced Frontend Developer (Contractor) with at least 10 years of experience delivering modular, scalable web applications. This is a remote role focused on building modern Angular-based frontends for browser and progressive web apps. We are looking for someone with proven technical depth and strong verbal and written English communication skills, as collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Responsibilities:
– Work closely with backend engineers, QA, and product managers to develop cohesive solutions
– Architect and build modular, component-driven Angular frontends for both web and PWA experiences
– Integrate with internal and external APIs, ensuring performance and reliability
– Develop and maintain automated unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests to support code quality
– Ensure secure data handling, validate input to prevent vulnerabilities, and comply with HIPAA/HITRUST requirements
– Conduct performance analysis, implement caching strategies, and improve page load times
– Resolve issues related to frontend performance, accessibility, and visual consistency
– Maintain comprehensive and well-documented ticket activity in Azure DevOps
Qualifications:
– 10+ years of experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular 2+
– Strong application of design patterns, especially S.O.L.I.D. principles
– Experience with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or PrimeNG
– Progressive Web App (PWA) experience, including offline functionality with IndexedDB
– Proficient in asynchronous programming with Promises and RXJS
– Demonstrated ability to design modular and scalable codebases using tools like NPM and Nx (nrwl)
– Expertise in REST APIs, webhooks, and websockets integration
– Deep understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
– Familiar with secure design principles (OWASP Top 10, WebAuthn)
– Comfortable working from design prototypes (Figma) to pixel-perfect implementation
– Experience using automation testing tools like Jest, Jasmine, and Cypress
– Proficient with accessibility standards and compliance (WCAG)
– Familiar with Lighthouse performance audits and improvement strategies
– Experience building multilingual interfaces
– Proficient in source control using GitHub and project layout best practices (LIFT)
– Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at B2-C1 level or above.
