What You’ll Do:
In this significant role, you will drive key projects that help shape our digital offerings and push the boundaries of traditional recruitment practices. If you are passionate about building user-friendly technology that transforms how companies hire, VidCruiter offers a dynamic and impactful environment for your skills to thrive.
While no two days are the same, here’s what you can expect from this role:
Develop and maintain user-centric web applications with a focus on performance and usability.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using JavaScript, with a strong emphasis on modern frameworks and libraries.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
Integrate frontend applications with Ruby on Rails backend services, ensuring seamless data flow and responsiveness.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and apply them to enhance our applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features effectively.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in web development with a strong understanding of JavaScript and Ruby on Rails.
Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and a basic understanding of jQuery.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Nice to have experience with Turbo and Stimulus frameworks.
Understanding of accessibility principles, including proper ARIA tagging and tab indexing.
Experience with component-driven development using frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte is a plus.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficient in speaking and writing English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and business settings.
