Job description

Fully remote Project Manager from an electronics background needed for an industrial sensor start-up in Cambridge – £450-500 per day + Outside IR35

With over 300 products in the field as we speak, this industrial sensor start-up are working across a number of sites in the UK with their state of the art vibration analysis sensors – helping the likes of water and oil giants to prevent catastrophic events.

They are looking for a project manager with extensive knowledge in electronics engineering, as you will have to understand the inner workings of their sensors to make full sense of the tasks at hand.

Essentially, the business have just had their sensor approved in the EU but need approval for the US. There is a lot of planning work to make this happen. Alongside this task, they are looking to get ATEX approval.

You would help the support team to coordinate the replacement of old sensors around UK sites (don’t worry you won’t have to go to any of the sites) and implement some production scheduling alongside this.

The CTO said he needs someone who is ‘used to dealing with those working across multiple disciplines and who can interact with external agencies too’.

If you have been an electronics engineer and have perhaps transitioned into project management this would be ideal. With a solid day rate and a minimum of 6 months’ work with a fully remote team, this is the most lucrative project management contract I have at the moment.
