Job Description
Ensure systems are privacy-compliant (GDPR, PIPL) and scalable for handling both PII and non-PII data.
Support flexible business models including license-based and usage-based (pay-per-report) structures.
Build integrations with third-party CRMs, dashboards, and automated reporting tools.
Collaborate with product managers to translate business cases into scalable backend solutions.
Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role and help recruit/mentor supporting engineers (e.g., SRE, data infrastructure).
The Successful Applicant
5+ years of backend development experience with PHP, Node.js, and Python. * Familiar with system design.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and secure data handling practices.
Comfortable working with sensitive image and user data (e.g., facial recognition, CRM data).
Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps), Linus, Shell, and CI/CD workflows. * Experiene in dealing with high-concurrency services.
Experience with at least one major database (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong cross-functional communication skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and private cloud deployments.
