Job Description
Team Management:
Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of ecommerce developers.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
Manage team performance, set goals, and provide feedback.
Ecommerce Development:
Lead the development and maintenance of Shopify-based ecommerce platforms.
Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create engaging online shopping experiences.
Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce trends and technologies.
System Integration:
Integrate Shopify with existing ERP systems (Oracle and NetSuite).
Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between systems.
Develop and maintain APIs and connectors to facilitate integration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business goals.
Coordinate with teams in different countries to ensure global consistency and efficiency.
Project Management:
Manage ecommerce projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Develop project plans, assign tasks, and track progress.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ecommerce development, with a focus on Shopify.
Proven experience managing and leading development teams.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Experience integrating ecommerce platforms with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of ecommerce technologies and a proven track record of managing successful ecommerce projects.
