JOB DESCRIPTION
Project: Facilities Management on Operations (FMO)
Job Title: Grounds / Labourer driver / Handyman / Material issuer
Reports to: Site Lead
Location: Camp Green
2. Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Essential :
Familiar with safe working practices e.g. manual handling and working at height etc
Capable of working within a team
Hold a clean and current driving licence.
Good English Language Skills
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
Knowledge of the hazards and necessary safety precautions in general labour
Must be physically fit and capable of passing medical
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to adapt to change in schedules, with good time management skills

Preferred:
Knowledge of airfield operations and services would be an advantage.
Experience of working on operations in austere remote sites or in developing nations.
3. Core Responsibilities and Duties
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain safety procedures by handling COSHH equipment according to company HSE protocols.
Issue materials & tooling from the Logistics stores daily to the site staff and report all materials issued out to the Material controller based in Mussunah.
Conduct ad-hoc stock checks.
Driving duties as directed by Site Lead or UK National Electrician.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Small repairs to Site assets within capability.
Participation and attendance of toolbox talks and Health & Safety meetings.
Any other duties as directed by Line Manager.
To adhere to the Grounds Maintenance areas that pertains to the agreed location of work.
To adhere to the vector control schedule that pertains to the agreed location for work.
To ensure prior to any task being undertaken, that you have the correct tools / equipment to carry out the detailed task
Ensure prior to any task being undertaken, that they have the correct PPE.
To ensure prior to any task being undertaken, that you have undertaken any training that pertains to the detailed task
To ensure prior to any task being undertaken, that you have signed all associated FMO Quality / HSE documentation, such as but not limited to: (a) Risk Assessments (b) ToolBox Talks, (c) Site / Location Security Documentation
