Sheridan Maine are proud to be partnering with our established Hampshire based client to recruit a Group Financial Accountant.
This 12-month contract will be supporting the finance team during a busy period of growth and will be responsible for a range of activities including consolidations and international reporting.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role will include;

Assist with the month end close process; eg reconciliations, journals, review schedules

Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy

Support year end activities – providing information for audits and assisting with queries

Contribute to the preparation and distribution of group management reporting

Preparation of financial statements and audit schedules

Undertake detailed reconciliations

Help improve financial processes and controls

Interpret financial data and explain variances

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA)

Working knowledge of IFRS

Experienced in group accounting, consolidations and reconciliations

Excellent working knowledge of Excel

Confident working with large volumes of data

Clear written and verbal communication

Excellent time management and organisational skills
