Hardware Project Manager – REMOTE WORK – 56187
Pay Range – $38 – $40/hr
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Hardware Project Manager to work on Remote basis.
MUST HAVE:-
Materials experience: Key regulations that would be part of day-to-day operations: EU RoHS, EU REACH, US TSCA, etc.-It can be any Materials regulation.
5 + years’ experience in project/program management in hardware development, supply chain management, or related fields.
Highly preferred to have materials or chemical Eng education background.
General requirements:
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the environmental engineering field or in a related area is desired.
Experience with environmental material certifications of electrical and electronic devices is desired.
Experience presenting to technical audiences
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, hardware engineers, and other program managers.
Specific tasks include:
Manage and assist 3rd party vendor to obtain Full Material Declarations (FMD) from various supply chain partners. May also be responsible for similar data collection activities.
Assist Compliance engineers in solving challenges with data quality and verification.
Organize data collection status to enable visibility of trends, “big rocks”, and persistent issues.
Create prioritized action plans to meet program goal.
Coordinate responses from within Amazon-AWS to aid with the 3rd party data collection. Primary interface will be with the Supply Chain managers (ISCAP).
Create dashboard to determine health of program. Communicate issues and suggested mitigations to manager.
Manage collection of Supplier Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) from suppliers
