We are seeking a skilled Hook-Up Engineer to manage and coordinate hook-up activities for offshore installations. The ideal candidate will have extensive offshore experience and expertise in the hook-up of oil & gas facilities, ensuring seamless integration from construction to commissioning phases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise hook-up activities for offshore structures, pipelines, and facilities.

Develop detailed hook-up procedures and work packs, ensuring alignment with project schedules and safety protocols.

Collaborate with the project management, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth transitions from pre-commissioning to commissioning.

Oversee offshore hook-up operations, including managing teams of offshore personnel and contractors.

Ensure all hook-up activities are executed according to technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate the mobilization of hook-up equipment, materials, and personnel to offshore sites.

Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety reviews, including HAZID and HAZOP studies, to ensure safe operations.

Liaise with the client, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of hook-up milestones.

Prepare hook-up reports, tracking progress and identifying any deviations from the plan.

Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during all phases of hook-up.

Provide technical support and guidance to offshore teams and ensure proper training of personnel.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in offshore hook-up engineering, with proven experience in oil & gas facility installations.

Strong knowledge of offshore hook-up procedures, including structural, piping, electrical, and instrumentation installations.

Experience in developing hook-up work packs and coordinating offshore logistics.

Familiarity with relevant offshore codes and standards such as API, DNV, and ISO.

Proven experience working in offshore environments with an understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing technical and operational challenges.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and offshore teams.

Ability to work in remote offshore locations and manage challenging schedules and conditions.
