HR Coordinator – Recruitment + Benefits

Are you a HR professional with experience handling benefit administration? The Tirecraft HR team is growing and we are seeking someone who is creative and a forward thinker when it comes to health and wellness of our staff. Full group benefit administration of new and existing Team Members

Monitor, manage, and oversee long-term disability claims

Plan, organize, and facilitate the preparation and completion of company renewals

Create new and fresh wellness programs, implement company wide

Respond to employee benefit inquiries and work with benefits providers to resolve any matters that may arise

Support HR team and all HR initiatives; including recruitment

Focus on international candidates/hires and applications

Support all locations (35 locations) with all hiring needs; focusing on international hires

Communicate regularly with all locations to determine hiring needs

Build relationships and connect regularly with employment centres and settlement programs

Create posting, scan resumes, conduct pre-screens, assist with interviews and, complete reference checks

Complete first day orientations with new hire


Post-Graduate certificate in Human Resources Management considered an asset

3+ years experience working with group benefit administration

3+ years recruitment experience

Experience submitted LMIA applications + settlement programs

Excellent knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and WSIB Regulations

Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision

Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with a wide variety of individuals and personalities.

Organized with a keen attention to detail and accuracy

Passionate about customer service and making a difference.

Strong working knowledge Microsoft 365 Programs
