About Write Edge
At Write Edge, we specialise in providing high-quality English and Writing tuition classes for Primary and Secondary school students in Singapore.
The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.
From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 7 physical branches,1 online arm called WELearn and also offer online classes to students in Malaysia.
With decades of combined teaching, curriculum and education management experience, we’ve got a well-seasoned team at the helm. We work very hard to help our students have the best experience at Write Edge and take great pride in what we do.

Be a part of the influential Human Resource team at Write Edge, dedicated to managing a diverse portfolio of HR functions and initiatives. From talent acquisition and development to employee engagement and performance management, our team works closely with the different teams in Write Edge to reach its goals in the Singapore market.
Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will be expected to work independently and collaborate closely with the HR manager and leadership team to execute various tasks.
Payroll:
Responsible for the full spectrum of payroll processing and payroll administration.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for salary computation, including but not limit to commission payment, overtime verification, allowances, bonuses, entitlements, claims and all pay-related items.
Ensure timely, efficient, accurate and high-quality execution of payroll processes.
Handle and resolve queries on payroll matters and disputes. * Manage Time Attendance, Leave and Pay modules of the HR system.
HR Administration:
Maintain up-to-date staff records, including personal information and employment details. * Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws and regulations regarding employee compensation and benefits.
Performance Management and Appraisal Execution:
Support in performance management process
Support leadership development through administration of 360 assessment &
feedback tools
Support in 360 assessment & feedback tools and employee engagement survey
Analyse employee engagement data to identify areas of improvement
Staff Retention, Culture and Employee Engagement:
Collaborate with HR and management to design and implement attractive staff benefits packages. * Plan, coordinate and facilitate training courses such as employee orientation, in-house training programmes
HR Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and best practices. * Ensure company compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Payroll specialist
Good knowledge in Employment and Income Tax Act
Exhibit strong understanding of local laws and compliance standards
Demonstrate a proven track record in effectively handling employee relations
Proficient in Google Applications and tech-savvy * Display a high degree of responsiveness to HR-related needs

Strong administrative skills and stakeholder management ability

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm
