PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing day-to-day HR operations, support strategic Human Resources initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
HR Operations: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient management of Human Resources functions.
Recruitment and Selection: Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening and interviews
Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee disputes and building positive Relationships with the business.
Performance Management: Assist in designing and implementing performance management systems to ensure systematic feedback and improvement.
People Development: Assist in developing and implementation of employee development programs. including training and succession planning.
HR Communication: Provide timeous updates on HR matters to management and assist in reporting to the executive committee.
Policy Development: Assist in designing and implementing HR policies aligned with company values and culture.
Overseeing and development of HR department staff
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist
Proven knowledge of Botswana Labour Laws.
Experience in resolving workplace conflicts
Experience with HR Software and Tools
Proficiency in analysing HR data to inform decisions
Strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office
