Hybrid/Remote Senior PHP Engineer – E-commerce

This role is to work as Senior PHP Engineer for E-commerce product company. You will be part of the Engineering team who plans, builds and maintains the technology for high traffic platforms.

Participate in full software development cycle, from understanding requirements, generate ideas, design and implementation, maintain clean code

Deploy microservices using infrastructure as code technologies, CI/CD (Bamboo), Terraform

Research and contribute to the team’s technologies selection process (from programming languages to frameworks and other optimisation)

Become a good partner with other colleagues in terms of reviewing code, guidance and technical discussion

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architecture, System, Data Science, Machine Learning)

Strong skills in PHP, major frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel

Good knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts (SOLID principles, clean code, design patterns, testing); cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Good knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres,… Familiar with RESTful API

Fluent English, any other language is a plus
