For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Core Banking Implementation Manager, remotely from Nigeria.
As a Senior Core Banking Implementation Manager, you will be part of a global team of experienced professionals responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of core banking solutions. You will work closely with clients in Nigeria, conducting in-depth business analysis, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful project execution. Your role will require strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, leading teams and driving the implementation of banking solutions to meet customer needs effectively. Travel within Nigeria may be required once a quarter for up to two weeks.
Accountabilities:
Lead project teams autonomously by structuring tasks, assigning roles, and optimizing resources to ensure smooth implementation.
Engage with key stakeholders to gather business requirements, document processes, and align expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage customer relationships, keeping clients informed about project progress while efficiently handling timelines and negotiations.
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand client requirements, propose solutions, and support strategic decision-making.
Oversee the implementation process, ensuring successful integration of core banking solutions and addressing technical challenges proactively.
Champion best practices and mentor team members to drive excellence in project execution.
Develop rollout strategies and involve key stakeholders at the right time to maximize project success.
Requirements
Minimum of five years’ experience in software implementation, professional services consulting, or the financial sector.
Strong knowledge of financial institutions’ operations, with expertise in banking, fintech, or microfinance.
Proven ability to translate customer business requirements into effective solutions.
Hands-on experience in project management, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
Technical proficiency in API integrations and financial systems is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
