Qualifications/Skills
Education: High school or equivalent diploma is required. Technical or vocational certificate in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field is required. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in, data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is desirable
Work Experience: A minimum of Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems and Technology, including at least Three (3) years of experience at the international level is required Experience working in Information Systems and Technology within United Nations common system field operation inclusive of peacekeeping, political missions and UN agencies, funds, and programmes or similar international organization or non-governmental organization is required. Experience in carrying out programmatic/administrative tasks necessary for the functioning of the Unit including preparation of cost estimates/budgets, reporting on budget/ programme performance, contracting vendor services is required Experience in FTS Assets Management in ERP Systems like UMOJA on Expandable, Non-expandable such as Issue, Return, write off and Reporting is required Experience in Acquisition Planning, Vendor Management, including raising of Shopping cart, Purchase order in ERP Systems like UMOJA is required. Experience in implementing high availability networking solutions, Data Center Management, Programming Network Devices, Managing Active Directory and User access is Required. Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) such as INEED, Field Remote Infrastructure Management (FRIM) or any other IOT, ERP Systems like UMOJA Security Liaison Officer (SLO) is required Experience in Performing DRP/DRX Exercise in Data center and Infrastructure, including writing DRP/DRX Documentation is required. Experience in ERP Systems like UMOJA Analytics, Power BI Analytics is required. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the advertised post, fluency in English, both oral and written is required; Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
