A leading financial technology firm is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer. This role involves managing virtual machines, cloud environments, and server migrations, with a strong focus on security and networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimise VMs using Hyper-V.
Operate and integrate Azure and AWS environments.
Lead legacy server and application migrations to cloud infrastructure.
Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in core infrastructure.
Configure and manage network settings on prem & in virtualised environments.
Communicate effectively within the team
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Hyper-V and virtual machine management.
Relevant certifications within Azure & AWS
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and security practices.
Networking skills on-prem & within virtualised infrastructure.
Proven experience in server (SQL) and application migration.
Nice-to-have
Experience working within a financial technology business
