Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a third party medical billing company in the Tampa area. We are seeking experienced Insurance Follow Up Representative.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities will include reviewing open patient account balance and following up with Insurance companies and/or patient to secure payment for services rendered.
The representative will need to review the accounts and have a good understanding on how claims are processed.
Must understand what an explanation of benefits is and be able to understand circumstances of denials, billing modification requirements, coverage and general information.
Requirements:
Preferably 2 years of experience in a medical business office environment with a focus on billing and or customer service.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office a must
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Excellent phone etiquette, good follow-up and follow through skills a must
Insurance Follow Up Representative Hours:
Flexible work schedule:
7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or can work 4 (10 hour day)
