Robertson Bell is pleased to be working with a growing charity in their search for a Part-Time Finance Manager for an initial six-month contract. This is a sole-charge role, reporting into the CEO and is offered on a fully remote basis.
The main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager include:
Production of monthly management accounts accurately and in a timely fashion.
Lead on year-end reporting, producing all financial statements with supporting schedules and provide any additional information required by auditors.
Partnering with budget holders, meeting monthly to gather information to assist the Finance Director with the development of budgets and forecasts.
Line management of one Finance Assistant who takes ownership of transaction reporting, providing the relevant training and mentoring to ensure they meet the agreed KPI’s.
Monitor banking processes and assist with the preparation of cash flow forecasts.
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrable experience in leading in the production of management accounts and exposure to statutory reporting.
Strong exposure of working within a charitable organisation.
Excellent communication skills and time-management skills.
