We are currently seeking a (Remote from anywhere in Canada) IT Deskside Support Specialist – Hardware / Infrastructure specializing in Tier 2 client technical support to join our JLL Technologies Real Estate Management Systems team. Our team’s priorities are supporting multiple real estate environments, desktops, networks, phone systems, Microsoft 365 and various other property technologies and software.
This role is responsible for working directly with vendors, technicians, technical and non-technical staff, clients, and transition teams to install, maintain and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the client’s IT assets. This includes providing overall service delivery for complex business needs including technical execution for JLL external and internal business clients to ensure alignment with overall business capability needs. All services to be delivered are designed to provide business capabilities in the most efficient and effective way while increasing business margin. You will be required to learn and understand processes across the property management business for different asset types e.g., office, multi-family, and retail as part of the post-transition/support needs.
What this job involves
As an IT Deskside Support Specialist – Hardware / Infrastructure at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for:
Providing phone and remote technical assistance to property management end users
Troubleshoot various desktop, printing, network, firewall, phone, VOIP, OneDrive, shared drives, Wi-Fi / Internet, MS licensing, and local application issues
Provide desktop hardware and software problem identification and resolution for all PCs and other property equipment with minimal supervision
Install and configure PC software
Remotely troubleshoot and resolve problems on a wide variety of hardware
Coordinate and transition support to 3rd and 4th level support when required
Assist in creating user-facing Knowledge Articles that facilitate user self-help
Manage Incidents and Service Requests in multiple ticketing queues for multiple properties
Develop and maintain understanding of property hardware / infrastructure features and functionality
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding regarding IT needs
Work on special projects with responsibilities to troubleshoot issues, identify and deploy solutions as well as provide subsequent technical support
Work on fast moving transition projects that are unique in their needs
Provide on-call support as needed
Ability to work reliably and consistently from home – This is a virtual position

Deep technical background in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Firewalls, Network Hardware including switches & routers, Phone Systems, Printers, Copiers and other network devices, physical security systems
Project management skills
