About this Position / Responsibilities
NFF, Inc. is seeking an IT Operations Specialist for one of their DC based customers to monitor IT operations accordingly to our customer’s policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance in all aspects of data processing operations.
Work with mainframe and Server applications.
Understands technical experience in the utilization and implementation of tools to monitor the server and mainframe applications.
Understands knowledge on how to identify, investigate and troubleshoot error conditions to help remediate system failure conditions.
Understand Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code.
This position may require weekend and or shift work hours.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (at least 2+ years of experience):
Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code;
Software Migration process;
Startup of Production Applications & Systems;
Microsoft SQL Management Studio & Oracle SQL Developer;
Preferred Experience – 2 years minimum:
Support Web and Client Server Applications
Microsoft Office Application Suite (Word & Excel)
Computer applications capabilities and limitations of computer equipment.
