Job Tittle: IT Support Help Desk
Job Purpose:
The IT Support will be responsible for providing remote support to our staff on various IT
related problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware and software, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Respond to user inquiries via phone, email and videoconference, providing technical support
and assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical issues and solutions.
Manage software upgrades and updates and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Train users on the use of hardware and software, and provide ongoing technical support as
needed.
Manage information flow by researching, recording, and analyzing data.
Additional duties and responsibilities:
The employee may be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in IT support, including experience with Windows and Mac operating
systems.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and to provide exceptional
customer service.
Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
