What You Will Do:
Leading technically and mentoring a team of Java developers, ensuring they follow best practices and coding standards
Developing high-quality and detailed technical designs for Java applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable
Drive the definition and implementation of mobile application architecture
Define and participate in the implementation of the API layer
Work with business and other stakeholders to define the requirements for the Java applications and the API layer
Hands-on coding of the solution
Participation in the software development lifecycle (peer reviews, testing, coding, etc)
Contribute to planning and providing high-level solution effort estimation
Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT professionals
Support with managing vendors and give valuable comments on the reviews
Ensure effective communication with business units, IT Operations, and external vendors
Ensure the creation of solution design and technical documentation and facilitate the best practices and knowledge sharing among the team
Identify and escalate the risks associated with solution architecture, IT decisions, and any other possible technical risks
Ensure effective IT development process by having a good overview of IT development processes and tools
What We Expect:
Proven track record of developing and deploying Java applications
Professional proficiency with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot
Professional familiarity with architecture patterns
Professional knowledge of different software development methodologies
Strong knowledge of microservice architecture
Expertise working with Jenkins, Git, Docker/Virtualization
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Gross salary. 5,340 – 8,000 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies.
