ROLE OVERVIEW
Berk Trade School is seeking a dynamic, energetic and goal oriented individual to bring our Admissions Advising to the next level in a period of rapid change. The Job Placement Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with present employers and executing a multi-faceted recruiting/placing strategy that takes into account potential students.
Berk Trade School serves many different types of students. Our Job Placement Coordinator will work with students, helping them write their resume , prepare them for interviews and finally find them interviews with potential employers.
Job Placement Coordinator is provided training and coaching throughout his/her/their career so he/she/they are able to develop both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Career Counseling: Provide guidance to job seekers about career options, resume building, and interview preparation.

Employer Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with employers to understand their hiring needs and match them with qualified candidates.

Job Matching: Assess job seekers’ skills and qualifications to match them with appropriate job openings.

Job Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, job market conditions, and new employment opportunities.

Workshops and Training: Organize and conduct workshops or training sessions to enhance job seekers’ skills and employability.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of job placements, follow up with both employers and candidates, and handle related paperwork.

Skills Required:

Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with both job seekers and employers.

Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and keep track of various job placements and candidate information.

Networking: Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry professionals.

Problem-Solving: Address challenges that arise during the job placement process.

Experience in HR, preferably job placements is required. Minimum 3 years of experience
