Cloud Lake Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator II to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) prime contract that provides comprehensive support services for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to include planning, building, testing, deployment, stabilization of workstation changes, software distribution, patch management, service management, and program and administrative management related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Will serve as the escalation POC for system admin related issues

Monitor server performance, ensuring systems are running efficiently.

Apply software updates, patches, and configuration changes to keep systems secure and operational.

Manage system backups and disaster recovery processes.

Supports the maintenance and updates of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure

Assists with common and third-party applications like Adobe Creative Cloud, BeyondTrust and Microsoft 365

Implements and tests group policy changes

Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen

Able to obtain and maintain a favorable CBP suitability determination

Bachelor’s degree in information systems (or related field) OR 2+ years of relevant IT experience

Experience providing operations and maintenance support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure, patching, imaging and updates to include troubleshooting issues when they arise (or similar product to MECM).

Experience resolving escalated issues from other teams.

Understanding of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems

Experience with MECM, Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune

Basic troubleshooting skills and customer support experience

Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (preferably DOS, VBScript, PowerShell, MS Graph API or SQL) to automate processes.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Desired Qualifications:

Certifications in A+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, or MECM related are a plus
