Job Overview:
Very Good Strategies is seeking a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for web development and a strong desire to grow their skills. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship and training not only in the technical aspects of WordPress development but also in how to think like a marketer, optimizing for both user experience and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and customize WordPress websites using Elementor and WordPress frameworks.
-Implement responsive designs, optimizing for both desktop and mobile experiences.
-Take ownership of tasks and have the initiative to solve problems independently, while knowing when to ask for support.
-Consistently meet project deadlines and communicate effectively with the team about progress.
-Collaborate with our team on various hands-on projects, including FunnelKit integrations and WooCommerce setups.
-Participate in informal, on-the-job learning sessions to expand your knowledge of web development, design, and marketing strategies.
-Troubleshoot and fix bugs, perform updates, and optimize site performance.
Required Skills:
-Experience with WordPress (6+ months preferred).
-Proficiency with Elementor for building WordPress sites.
-Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to think from a customer’s perspective.
-Ability to take ownership of tasks and figure out solutions independently.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
-Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Experience with WooCommerce.
-Familiarity with Bricks Builder and FunnelKit.
-Knowledge of Webflow, Shopify, or Figma (design experience is a plus but not required).
-Interest in learning more about digital marketing and conversion optimization.

Work Schedule:
This is a remote position, but you must be available to work within Pacific, Central, or Eastern time zones.
