The Large Volume Specialist is responsible for relationship-building, site-level relationship management, outreach and retrieval for high value, large volume provider groups in support of our clients’ medical records retrieval projects.
This individual will prioritize daily contact with high value provider offices for chart retrieval scheduling. This individual will develop a strategy for each large volume provider group to grow the relationship with the POC with the provider group, consolidate retrieval efforts across multiple retrieval projects at varying stages of the project life cycles, and resolve blockers and successful schedule chart submission with the assigned large volume providers. This individual will perform complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead for the outreach division in ensuring successful progress is made in chart retrieval for top locations within projects

Establishes effective communication and reporting methods among global team members

Actively managing escalations and significant issues with internal stakeholders with high level solutions

Conduct outreach calls daily to high priority, high value provider offices to schedule for chart retrieval using various retrieval methods including mail, fax, electronic, and field

Create, manage, monitor, and track site strategy relationship-building and outreach plan tasks

Conduct site-level reporting as needed to support the site strategy and outreach plan

Conduct data review and analysis of provider group site-level details of chart requests to identify blockers to success and facilitate overcoming the blocker for successful chart retrieval

Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data

Point of contact for staff collaboration for each assigned provider group among outreach team

Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

May be assigned other duties

Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in Call Center environment, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry

Experience with building and managing relationships

Basic understanding of HIPAA and PHI

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Proven ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare provider outreach and engagement

Experience with relationship management

Knowledge of Salesforce Application

Demonstrated excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – particularly Excel and Word, and G-Suite – Google Sheets, Docs)

The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
