Job Summary
The Lead Scrubbing Specialist is responsible for verifying and maintaining the accuracy of the company’s lead database. This includes calling companies to confirm business information, updating the CRM system, and researching new potential leads. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, capable of maintaining data integrity, and comfortable communicating with businesses.
This role is essential in supporting the sales and marketing teams, ensuring they have access to accurate and actionable lead information.
Key Responsibilities
Verify business information by calling companies to confirm key details, including contact names, addresses, and industry type.
Clean and maintain the lead database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Research and add new leads to the system based on set criteria.
Keep detailed records of verified business information to maintain CRM integrity.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure they receive high-quality, accurate leads.
Generate regular reports on data scrubbing progress and lead accuracy.
Ensure continuous data quality by regularly updating and refining lead lists.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; some higher education preferred.
Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data entry, lead scrubbing, or CRM management.
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Excellent verbal communication skills for verifying business information.
Proficiency in CRM systems, data tools, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
